ATR 42 & ATR 72 Services

For almost two decades ATR 42 and ATR 72 turboprops have played a critical role in the regional airline industry, both in the United States and throughout the world. Now many of those aircraft are moving into the cargo market.
M7 Aerospace is the world's leading converter of ATR 42 and ATR 72 regional airliners from passenger to freight configuration. Over the past three years, M7 has installed its proprietary cargo conversion Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) in more than 50 of these airplanes.
M7 developed and owns the STCs to convert both ATR 42s and ATR 72s. M7's cargo conversion features a unique continuous rail cargo net option that allows operators to easily adjust the size of cargo loading zones within the aircraft. The interior panels in an M7-converted ATR are secured to the continuous rails, and snap into place without separate fasteners. This allows quick and easy removal of the interior panels for maintenance functions.
In addition to cargo conversions, M7 performs heavy maintenance on ATR regional airliners, including A checks, B checks and C checks. M7 also performs avionics upgrades on these airplanes, from simple installations such as the addition of Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems (EGPWS) or Traffic Collision and Avoidance Systems (TCAS) to complete avionics system upgrades, replacing every unit in the aircraft.
M7's extensive experience with ATR regional airliners ensures that airplanes brought to M7's Part 145 Repair Station at the San Antonio International Airport are completed on time and returned to service in top notch condition. Look to M7 for all of your ATR maintenance needs.
