C-23 Program
M7 Aerospace was awarded the C-23 Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) contract in March of 2005. Under the terms of this contract, which is potentially worth more than $300 million in revenue, M7 provides all services required to keep a fleet of 42 C-23 Sherpa aircraft mission capable.
C-23 is a military variation of the Shorts SD-360, a twin-engine turboprop-powered utility aircraft that has been used commercially in the United States as both a regional airliner and a cargo freighter. The Army employs the C-23 Sherpa as a utility transport at various locations in the United States and to support intra-theater aviation, cargo, airdrop, and aeromedical evacuation missions.
The C-23 Program Office at the M7 Facility in San Antonio, Texas supports the program with its Business Operations, Contracting, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Maintenance Management, Human Resources and IT functions. Additionally, the San Antonio Facility, provides heavy maintenance and engineering support.
A branch of the Program Office is located in Bridgeport, WV. Additionally, the main C-23 Warehouse is located in Bridgeport. M7's subcontractor, M7 SCM, manages this warehouse and provides Flying Hour Supply Chain Management functions.
